The story of
Emily Oracle
A queer fantasy author and New England native now floundering on the west coast of the US with her void cat and little queer commune. She’s been writing fiction for over twenty years, with a degree in Creative Writing and a passion for history. Her biggest weakness (derogatory) is her own perfectionism and (affectionate) reader comments.
She writes for passion, for heartache, for beauty. To Emily, fantasy is not an escape, but an exploration into the themes that haunt her psyche: what it means to be alone, how love is experienced despite and through the inherent selfishness of being, and the process of healing from the inevitable metamorphoses one experiences in life to become who they are.
Emily Oracle is STAUNCHLY against genAI. Every word and punctuation—including the em dashes—are human made. As is the cover art, which is crafted by the very human and very talented hands of her best friend, Madison Stewart (and they were roommates).
